Suppose to meet with ATF?

I recently tried to pawn some guns for my mother, who is 72 and was need of some quick cash. An old friend is the manager of a pawn shop and ran my name though the data base to see if I could get the guns back if pawned, because I had a prior conviction of class d felony due to DWI's, and didn't want me to lose the guns. I was denied..... I received a call from the ATF, saying I wasn't in trouble but they needed me to sign some papers. I'm freaked out, I have changed my life completely from the past. Does anyone know what consequences await me?

You ask for advice on consequences and we give it freely. Yet you play hard-to-get.
Oui, this is your first rodeo but we do not care for the coyness, convict cowboy.
Ooohhh what sad times these are when passing noobians can say “Ni!” with impunity to old ladies such as ourselves ...

DO NOT TRUST A SINGLE WORD FROM THE ATF. Also. Kiss the guns good bye. They are not your guns, never have been. Do not answer any questions. You have just incriminated yourself and are a felon in posession. You best call an attorney yesterday.

Buy some BB guns and get rid of the real guns.

Call the ATF dude and tell him "sure, come on over".

Only one good answer here, get an attorney, preferably a criminal attorney who knows his stuff ... he’ll do a good job for you! If you are in Tulsa, Oklahoma I can recommend a good one for you!

LOL!

I sold a gun to a stand-up guy a few years ago. He then sold it to someone and it ended up being used is some type of crime in New Jersey.

ATF came knocking on MY door as I was the one who first purchased the gun and thus still had the 4473 on file at the store.

An FFL Licensee cannot “run your name through the database”. Someone is a damned liar, either you or your “old friend”. You have to fill out the paperwork and submit it (Form 4473).

IF you pawn a firearm, when you pick it back up, you have to fill out the SAME PAPERWORK as if you were purchasing it new.

If you have a felony, kiss them goodby.
