What are some of the cool things people are doing with these? I think it’s cool and want to play, but I just scratch my head and say I don’t have anything to do with it. Maybe if I built a robot for robot wars :-)

I've got a buddy using one with a current meter to keep track of power usage at his house. It monitors and records the amps, and then makes them available via a web interface, generates some neat graphs etc.

I'm an engineer geek, something I freely admit. I'm probably going to break down and buy one of these to play with. What for? No idea, but I'll figure something out once I have it. ;-)

We used one as a dedicated box to surf video and movie websites on the big screen using an android pad as the remote.

At around $40 each they are affordable geek play toys.
