I am leery about seeing the film, because it is directed by Clint Eastwood, who also directed The Gauntlet and A Perfect world, two of the worst movies I have ever seen.

Every director has layed a few eggs here and there. This movie sucks you in from the start. Lots of great lessons and truths throughout. I highly recommend you see it. And the two movies you mention are 20 and 30 years old.

Wife and I saw it last week. She cried, I thought it was great. Deserves Best picture.

Im leery of going to the movies in general; probably could number the movies my wife and I have seen together on my fingers and toes - Im not even sure about needing the toes.
But we went to this one, and werent sorry.

I saw this movie twice. This is not something I have ever done as an adult...and I have been an adult for a long time.
