That’s why the foster system is scary on its own. The whole concept of moving children from one foster home to the next, it doesn’t sound like it has good side effects one way or another.

It is Morpheus. Our daughter & son-in-law have 2 foster kids, a brother (9) and his sister (10). They’ve had them a year, come April 2015. Luckily for them, this is the first placement outside of relatives’ homes that the kids have been in. Sadly both the girl & the boy were molested in the grandfather’s home & worst of all, the mother refused to believe them. Even worse, grandpa still allows the freeloader pervert that molested his grandkids to live there!

Mom, who is a 3 time failure at drug rehab, now has a medical marijuana permit (does that even make SENSE to give such a thing to an addict???) & is doing nothing that’s required to get her kids back. Oh, she is doing 1 thing, showing up at the weekly supervised visitations with her kids. Otherwise, on a list of like 11 things she has to do, none have been done. What’s worse is she lies to the kids & tells them she’s doing everything & they’ll be home in 30 days or by Christmas or by Halloween & of course, they believe her & get their hopes up. So sad.

Hopefully our daughter & SIL will be allowed to adopt these kids & continue to give them a better life, but we’ll see. I’m not counting on it....
