French toast...lots of French toast, eh!
Someone needs to do a study on the undeniable phenomenon in which on come serve inclement weather triggers an insatiable desire for French Toast.
No! Cinnamon Toast! (Learned this from my old Granny!)
Slather lots of slices of bread with real butter.
Sprinkle liberally with Brown Sugar.
Sprinkle again, with cinnamon.
Toast in the oven (or some other way) until all is toasty and melt-y.
Serve with hot tea, full of sugar and milk (I like Earl Grey, or Constant Comment’s spicy tea.)
(We just learned that we are on late report tomorrow, because of the storm. More Sleep for us :-)
Of Course, you can always add some eggs, and sausage or bacon...........even Cocoa.
