If I were stuck in that, I’d be lookin’ for a man with a high body fat content, a sleeping bag and a bottle of Jack Daniels.

See ya in the Spring, LOL!

If it’s snow - no problem. ICE is the real sunnuvabeotch to deal with.

Lived through The Ice Storm of 1976 in Wisconsin. It was brutal. No power for a full week. No phones, and LOTS of downed trees and power lines. Dad fired up the grill and we cleaned out the freezer and ate like Kings, but it was still a little scary. I remember we melted snow so we could flush when we HAD to and as a teen, to go wtihout a PHONE for a week was a living H3LL, LOL!

Obviously it was traumatic as I’ve remembered it for nearly 40 years. ;)

Lived outside of Johnsonville during that one. Cant remember for sure, but I believe we were out of power for over a week. 28 miles of high transmission lines went down between the Sheboyan Power plant and West Bend.
