NASA is saying amateur astronomers with small telescopes and strong binoculars may be able to see the asteroid, although stormy conditions in the Northeast will limit night-time viewing there. Here's how to try to view the asteroid.

    It’s cloudy in my part of Michigan, so no show for me.
Besides I’m not 16 anymore, and bringing my telescope out in the freezing cold like the old days has lost much of its appeal.
