I'm not sure, but I think that it is a big deal in some parts of the world. One of the main attractions seems to be that the men wear shorts and end up running around a grass field for a couple of hours kicking each other in the shins. I think it sounds like fun...

Okay, so maybe the "World Cup" isn't a Communist plot... I still blame the Patriots and Belichick for Global Warming, and for timestax's life-partner dumping him for a swarthy Mexican of equally questionable gender.
