If they wanted to pay them $16, couldn't they have done that without issuing a press release? Probably, but so what? They may well attract qualified job applicants from their competition as a result.
Aetna is acting on behalf of the Democrat party. They are making a political statement that ALL companies should pay $16 and hour minimum and if they don't they are SELFISH.

So if Aetna could have afforded to pay $16 all along, that means they were underpaying all those years!
Shouldn't they make the pay-raise retroactive to make up for their selfishness?
