the dishonest Civil Rights drama stood alone in its box office free fall. Every other film nominated for Best Picture that is still in theatres out-performed “Selma,” in most cases by a humiliating margin. The patriotic, pro-War On Terror “American Sniper” took in more money in one day — Friday — than “Selma” has in 10 days.

So you have a dishonest representation of a US-based cultural event hyped by the media at the time 50 years ago, and it fails to draw interest from the 85% of non-black America, let alone the rest of the world, and they are not only surprised, but angry?
