Two of ours are rough coated and one is the typical short haired Jack. One of the rough coated Jacks has really long hair and is a throw back to long haired terriers that were bred into the line who knows how long ago. He is a therapy dog and we go to hospitals and convalescent homes on a regular basis. he is the sweetest dog I have ever had.
