More than half, or 55 percent, of active-duty troops say they disapprove of the way President Barack Obama is handling his job as commander-in-chief, according to a Military Times poll.
The Military Times report on Americas military, A Force Adrift: How the Nation is Failing Its Troops and Veterans, was built upon a survey of almost 2,300 active-duty troops and includes first-hand accounts from soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines.
Military Times asked active-duty service members, Do you approve or disapprove of the way President Obama is handling his job as commander in chief? 55 percent of active-duty personnel said they disapprove while only 15 percent said they approve.
Similarly, Obamas popularity fell from 35 percent in 2009 to just 15 percent this year among active-duty soldiers.

How is it not 95%?Good question, but I was going to ask why it isn't 100%. What is wrong with those 45%?

I’m pretty sure I know, but it’d be racist to say it out loud.

What is the percentage of blacks in the military? Since we have virtually no afros around here, I don’t have a feel for this kind of stuff.

I see, only 17%, but that still does not answer why 45% favor him.

It is 95%. The White Hut has massaged the numbers and magically found 40% that were mistaken.

It’s more than that.
Active Duty ping.

Seems a little skewed. This is bogus. More like 80-90%
To: Jet Jaguar
Well, we won’t get that kind of story out of a certain “government media” company with a similar name to a rather large-beaked seabird.

Didn’t Obama recently tell several hundred of our military, some who were shipping out, “You guys are like Santa in fatigues”??

because of the high amount of black soldiers I am probably wrong on the exact percentage but I think 25 percent of the military is black which is a group that approaches 80-90 percent approval of the president.

I met a white navy officer in Colorado 6 months ago who seemed normal until I mentioned my support for Israel.
The guy stunned me with a long tirade of pro-Obama, anti-Bush, anti-GOP, and anti-Israel language.
I politely thanked him for his years of service.

Seems weird huh? Of course, I retired in 1987, so I am sure things have changed. Judging from that experience, I wonder if it is possible Obama has hoodwinked enough people, to get them to fire on American civilians in the future? I would not put ANYTHING past these scoundrels

It once was that the military was not to disparage or give an opinion of the president if negative. Now many don't care. 55 disapproving, 15 approving and 30 no opinion is probably right. The 30 are probably waiting for promotion or orders.

I suspect that most of the 30% who answered “don’t know” actually disapprove but did not want to jeopardize their careers.
