Except that the clock will perpetually show 12:58 on Thursday the 15 of January.

Then the only solution is to beg the originator of the post to send to you the clock and the background. ;-)
That is what I get for trying to help! No good deed goes unpunished. ;-)
There are plenty of java clocks on the internet. You could always edit the background to include the java clock that would show the correct time and cover up the original poster’s clock. Geez! ;-)

Awesome. Though, I'll have to wait until the Bruins win the Cup sincemy current desktop is the Bib B logo.
I have looked but came up dry...where did you get that particular clock widget?

Ha! (BTW, thanks...I was looking for Java and Flash widgets) You figured out Vector Clock but not how to get the Start Menu on the right hand side? Did the taskbar on the right side work for you? I was going to recommend Classic Menu but didn’t think it would give you what you were looking for.

Aha! When I searched for 'Vector Clock' as you posted, I found a website detailing an algorithm for generating a partial ordering of events in a distributed system and detecting causality violations. Whoa. All that to get a widget on the desktyop? Thus my post #53.
So this morning, I tried again and searched for Vector Clocks. Now that's more like it!
