I was kind of surprised to see Selma in the best picture nominations and wondered if it was a bone thown to the African American community. Glenn Beck loved Selma and suggested everyone see it. I won’t. The subject matter just doesn’t interest me. But I’ve heard others say it’s not a very good movie.
The reason liberals don’t like Selma is it correctly exposed Lyndon Johnson for the bigot that he was, and the “Great Society” as the trap that it is.
MLK was an evangelical Christian Republican. He is the antithesis of what current “black leaders” are.
