Even though Harry Potter has graduated Hogwarts and moved onto bigger and brighter things (with decidedly less peril), J.K. Rowling is still creating magic with her words. As evidenced by her stunning takedown of Rupert Murdochs ignorant comments about the recent events in Paris.
On Friday, the News Corp chairman had some stunningly misguided words for the Muslim people of the world in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris, calling for the Moslems of the world to take the blame. Terrorism, you see, is their problem and theyll have to either fix it for the rest of the world, or resign themselves to being held accountable for every single bad thing the extremists do. That doesnt seem very logical, does it?

What’s a MTV?
Something Pat Benatar and Sting wanted around 1983.
If you ain’t anti-Mohammadan, you ignorant.
I thought they just wanted to sell some refrigerators and move some color TVs.
(And microwave ovens.)
“Auto excommunicating” from islam is one of the things that gets you buried to your neck and stoned, smartass.
"Graduate" in this case in not a transitive verb. People who speak English say "graduated from..."
We’ll come on, when a girl rips off a video games series to write her books, she then has the cred to defend Mudslimes.
Yet they believe every Christian is responsible for what one stupid Christian does.
Ironic that the channel of the 99% is featuring a commentary from a member of the 1%, but who am I to question their genius?
She may have finished Harry Potter, but she hasn’t stopped writing fantasy.
It is an English (the country, not just the language) way of speaking.
They also say that someone is "in hospital" rather than "in THE hospital".
This ought to please muslims: The world’s foremost witch, witch expert and witch writer, has come to their defense.
A cable channel fossil artifact that once played something called “music videos” back before cable tv had commercials.
It ceased having “music videos” and now struggles for relevance.
But in the UK, one does not ‘graduate’ from secondary school at all (which is what Hogwarts is, after all). The term is starting to spread into British English because of the American influence, where it is a correct term, but historically and correctly in Britain, one only graduates from a university (which is why those studying their Bachelors degree are undergraduates).
So whichever way you look at it, it’s bad English :)
Personally I think ‘graduated from...’ is also better in British English regardless, and would see ‘graduated’ without the ‘from’ as more an American idiom.
Not to mention, that Harry did not complete his schooling at Hogwarts anyway (he left after his sixth year, not returning for the seventh, instead fighting the final year of the war that year) and according to JK Rowling, did not go back afterwards (nor did Ron, although Hermione, naturally, did).
I saw this Rowling broad being interviwed around seven or eight years ago. It made watching water evaporate or paint dry exciting in comparison.
When J.K. Rowling shows ignorance of the most extreme racism against white people and outrageous bigotry against Christians, gay people and others, she has no idea what she is saying. When these monsters behead, gang rape and get girls to set off body bombs for Allah, Rowling seems to be oblivious. She is like the so-called moderate Muslims who keep a tight lip from condemning those who murder innocents on behalf of Allah. Shame on J.K. Rowling.
