It would have given great offense, had anyone known it was there.
For the first half of the 20th century, an eight-foot-tall marble statue of the Prophet Muhammad overlooked Madison Square Park from the rooftop of the Appellate Division Courthouse at Madison Avenue and 25th Street.
Sixty years ago, the statue was quietly removed, in an episode that now looks, in light of recent events in Paris, like the model of tact, restraint and diplomacy.
What had spared the sensibilities of Muslim passers-by from 1902 to 1955 was that “Muhammad,” by the Mexican sculptor Charles Albert Lopez, was among nine other lawgivers, including Confucius and Moses.

They liked to depict him surrounded by fire. Very appropriate. Especially is contrast to Christ and water allusions.

You know what gets me about Mudslimes, is they freak out and kill if a picture of the King pedophle Mo-ham-mud is shown, but they got no problem naming 90% of Mudslime males “Mohammud”. So isn’t that impersonation? Meaning we got billions of Mudslimes walking around portraying the pedophile King? And if their photo is taken then they are displaying a picture of the King Pedo now different from a freakin’ statue or painting or cartoon.

This issue should have never been brought to light, now the muzzie bastards will want the statue replaced under the equal right provision. I would destroy that statue once and for all if it still exists.
FWIW, the US Supreme Court, in the The North Wall Frieze, still has a portrait of Mo, among other great lawgivers.
Muslims are opposed to the statue, not in favor of it.
