An accountant at a New York ad firm leaped to his death because he was hallucinating that the mannequins at his Manhattan office were chasing him, it was claimed today. David Caquais, 43, opened at window at Catch NY on the fourth floor of a building in Manhattan's Garment District and jumped out about 9pm on January 2. The New York Post reports that Mr Caquais screamed 'They're after me! They're after me!' as he ran around his office and attempted to kick out windows.

Fuuny, in an odd way, but I have often referred to Mr. Bill as the Pope Mobile! LOL! Great minds! I think Sionnsar was just reminding me that he still loved me! And yes, it was mutual. Whoever didn’t love him was someone who never met him, online or off.
Today I go to have the stitches removed from my right foot. I was supposed to have the epidural in my neck Monday (2nd) but I had such a heathenish low blood sugar episode, I had to cancel it. I will reschedule it.
Odd how Mr. Bill throws oil and then it behaves for a year. Don’t know what’s up with that, but I do keep oil in the cargo area for the “tantrums.” I am so very grateful every day for the gift of the Eala Bhainn... I will see if I can get some boy scouts to use the rubbing compound... I love that truck!
One of my neighbors was shocked to learn Mr. Bill was 4X4...the same guy that walks the property every morning without fail, and I wonder how he could miss the wheel hubs...
As for you, I will put your name on the prayer list for a little extra help in the challenges you are faced with now. So brace yourself for minor miracles when the prayers go up.

I’ve been up since 0330, but stayed in bed, hoping to doze. HAH!
Right now, I’m going to wrap my right foot in a plastic bag and duct tape and go take a shower. Then I will head for Busdaddy’s and get a load of clothes in the washer before I have to go to my appointment. It has been rescheduled for 0945, and I’m sure I mentioned that last night...when I get back, I will take a nap while another load washes!
Not even my coffee can stop the machinations of DAY!

Doc says to come back in two weeks or not, and told me how to dress the wounds until then. I told him I wanted to come back in two weeks so he could release me to go for walks again, and maybe the weight will come off a little easier.
The first load of clothes is in the washer, and I just took a pain pill, which I have wanted to do since before I left home. Too much driving.
Maybe when I get there, we can go to the Salvation Army store and see if there are any cool T-shirts and some cute jeans that will fit my skinnier body! And maybe Jamie can trim my hair so I can style it myself when I get back. (Am I asking too much?)
All your requests are within the realm of possibility, as long as you’re well enough. And Jamie, too. She has bronchitis, or I’d have her over tomorrow to trim Kathleen and Elen’s hair. I need to send her a text and see how she’s doing.
I suspect I will be reasonably better than I was on my last visit. That super-long delay in Memphis stressed me out, and I couldn’t function as well as I did the first time I visited.
I will say a prayer for Jamie. She’s a good person.
Since I only had two loads of laundry this time, my laundry is “done,” with the last load being in the dryer. LOTS of socks this time! LOL!
I was so glad to get that Birth Control shoe off my foot! The doc gave it a proper burial and said I no longer had to walk like someone from a Stephen King novel...step-CLAP! He’s funny. (Of course, I said it first, but I said “step-SLAP!”)
