Prediction... Jax / Clark finale, but she will not be revealed first to hype the drama. :):)
Well 1 of 2 right and on we go to the Clark / Nick finale....
Jax wearing an “ out with the garbage” farewell dress
I’m not surprised Jax was cut, but I was looking forward to hearing her sing.
Poor thing, Jax rehearsed all week for nothing. It feels particularly harsh this final week....probably three songs down the drain now.
Every time I type your name I spell "Manix"--lol.
I'm tired of seeing Borchetta's oily face on my TV.

Should see her tomorrow night with “ living dead”. Stephen Tyler...
Clark showed Harry his gravy on that one... Excellent .....
Doing his best Ray Charles impersonation, Clark sings "Georgia On My Mind".
Keith : Like a whole mess of flap jacks drenched in syrup.
Jlo : You were a diamond in the rough. You remind us why you're here.
Harry : You always want to push it, push it, push it. And that was a great example. Great way to start the show.
I thought it was very good as well.
As we knew it would be :)
Well I was half expecting a Blonde Girl With Guitar to be there. They sure had enough of them this year.
I thought it was very good as well.
Judges hyping Nick.like him , but prefer Clark
He sings Matchbox Twenty's "Bright Lights". Excellent! He should win this. Clark tries too hard for the same sound that comes naturally to Nick.
Sustained applause.
Jlo : Simon Fuller was probably thinking of someone like you. Someone who has the look, who has the presence. We've seen you grow into that.
Harry : This would be a perfect opportunity to (start voting) You guys have to vote. Good job!
Keith : I can relate to you, Nick.
Seacrest asks Jennifer who won the first round.
Jlo: Can I say it was a tie?
Seacrest: You can but it would be a cop-out.
Harry begins to chant "You have to choose! You have to choose!" The audience picks up on it, mostly.
Jlo sticks with her cop-out. It's a tie.
Oh yeah, I remember in the beginning that they had a proportionally large number of blondes and urban singers. Once again Idol voters go for the white guy no matter how hard they try. Racists.
I hadn't thought of that. This format change is really unfair to the singers.
Thinking Nick will get the “ smile vote” and that will be the difference.
PreferClark, but won’t be disappointed with a Nick win
Clark is usually good but he has gone screech-y on both songs tonight.
Strumming acoustic guitar, he sings Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine". Much better than his first effort.
Harry : Takes a lot of guts to do that (sing two slow songs back to back) Inward soulful performance.
Keith : (he tells some joke about a duck that I didn't get--apparently no once else did either)
Jlo : It was awesome, beautiful, heart-felt.

Heard it during that last song....
Clark is a more versatile singer and a phenominal musician. Nick seems to be more of a one-trick-pony. (A very good pony tho.)

He does seem to prefer that uptempo stuff.....
