When she was governor, Sarah Palin did a first-class job of cleaning corrupt Republicans as well as Democrats out of office, and sent several to jail. She called the Alaska Republicans by their nickname at the time—the Corrupt Bastards Club. She has also hinted from time to time that she would abandon the Republicans if necessary. She has a proven conservative records a mile long, in office, as Mayor and Governor.

I’m sure all kinds of deals were worked out. I’m not sure those “being punished” isn’t all BS. It was all part of the game. They knew the voters were pissed at boner and the turtle so they had to act like they were going to do something. Reminds me of the Mickey Rooney / Judy Garland movies: “I know what we can do!
