Someone mentioned muzlims were recently seen buying large quantities of fluorescent light bulbs at the dollar store in Las Vegas.

I know cellphones can be used to set off -I- -E- -D- s... but light bulbs?

Maybe to make the -I- -E- -D- s - more de ad ly?

Any ideas?

Maybe it’s not the cell phones per se but the contents of the cell phone ? Battery? Element that can’t be purchased in bulk without triggering flags

Possibly there is something in the ballast circuit that could be adapted to other needs.

The ballast circuit generates high voltage, and high frequency, perhaps this could be re purposed as an igniter?
