We had the windows open, because the weather was so gorgeous and we just finished a bit of remodeling/painting. We were airing everything out....and the pollen came right on in and attacked me :-/

I was reading an article (on allergies — Yay!), last night, that said you should also bathe your dogs, as the pollen sticks to them. I hadn’t even thought about that. My two little pollen collectors were there with us, so they both got baths, today.

We have had gorgeous days...perfect for airing out fresh paint indeed. It’s chilly here today..warmed up to 56.

My kitties are indoor cats...I’d hate to think of trying to bathe a cat...though some breeds don’t seem to mind so much.

When I painted the other day, I was surprised and glad that neither the little bit of Kilz I used, or the paint for the closet area bothered me at all. I never painted in the winter before. It was a test run to see if I could paint the larger interior areas without making us all ill from fumes or even just paint smells. I am The Canary In The Coal Mine, and even I didn’t feel ill from the paint. My newly painted coat and boot closet never looked better. Like I said, too bad no one sees how pretty it turned out! LOL.
