I’ve set the dvr to record. Have not watched, yet.
Any thoughts or comments, so far?
too early to tell...
Wouldn’t that make it The Future Channel?
Don’t have to. Read the book.
Nothing to write home about.
They’ve run out of past history and are covering future history now?
Forty years ago it was said that less people watch Tv between Christmas and New Years so the networks put their junk shows on then.
History Channel has a tendacy to ignore 2000 years of church history on Revleation and end times eschatology and concentrate on some guys interpetation from 1800’s.
I just watched it and kept thinking why does the History Channel carry so much fiction? It is a fictional dramatization of the last days and is hence accurate except in specifics. We must be yet a few years away from the Tribulation, or maybe not.
Watched the first half last night—couldn’t stomach the rest.
Stuff I seriously disliked:
-Rapture of children only; no adult believers.
-No destruction of Mog and Magog’s army—was supposed to be so bad Israelis would burn the Defeated ones weaponry for 7 years.
-For all the Professor’s scholarly insight into the Bible, he sure didn’t repent or call on anyone else to do so.
-Didn’t hear much about Salvation in Jesus Christ.
-The President and Vice President die and the FEMA (DERA) director is in charge? No Constitutional succession followed? Isn’t Speaker of the House next?
-All the Sunnis coming to Shia Iran’s aid? Don’t see it.
-Ethiopia is not Muslim, it is Christian and has a surprisingly good relationship with Israel.
-Does anyone really think that the fundamentalist Muslims are going to be happy to tear down the Dome of the Rock (Al Asqa) and let the Jews build the 3rd Temple?
History Channel? It is to laugh ....
with my interests in theology and eschatology, I’d be a sucker for this program. But we cut off our cable tv when the ripoff kapitalist crooks doubled the subscription fee, ha!
So we lost History Channel. But from what we’ve seen of a few of their other ‘creative’ productions, they’re mostly entertainment (and sometimes fairly well done, worth an hour if you want to be entertained). Do not expect, however, that the flick will follow any particular script you might approve of. Its entertainment. Enjoy it, if you can, on that basis.
Nope, We’re watching “Killing Lincoln” on the FOX News Channel. WOW!,really great.
No, I discounted anything the History Channel had to say about Biblical matters many years ago, when it became apparent that they had an agenda to push.
I’m watching the killing of Lincoln on Fox News.
History Channel does not come over the air for free so I guess it is not the end of days for me.
I tried to watch the first part, and gave up.
I saw something late last night into the early morning hours. I was half asleep and half awake. It did caught my attention about the plague or something. All I remember a dude with a bible, something about Israel and seeing 2 scientist or something running down the hallway and when they came to a door looks like an infected came to the door. I thought it was the movie 28 Days Later or something but poof I went immediately into my twilight sleep.
The media types are shocked when they come to the conclusion: “You mean the wing nut militia groups (Red Eagle) are the good guys?!” A Christian army led by two prophets is marching to defeat the anti-Christ.
