Is anybody watching the History Channel's Revelation : The End of Days?
I'm curious, if you are watching, what are your thoughts?
I see the possibility of something like that ,,going viral on yotube...and embassys buning all over the middle east...../
The media types are shocked when they come to the conclusion: “You mean the wing nut militia groups (Red Eagle) are the good guys?!” A Christian army led by two prophets is marching to defeat the anti-Christ.
The president of the United States is the anti-Christ.
For such a time as this . . . http://www.patburt.com/
Nope. It's Al Haig!
Ha!
they said it would be $29 a month for somethhing like 200 channels, maybe it was 180.
true, it was $29 plus taxes and fees and such for a few months. then it quietly jumped to $86 as I recall.
doubled.
we reviewed what we were getting.
local TV we can get over the air for free.
plus,
about 50 foreign language channels, VietNamese, Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, Japanese, you name it...we don’t speak it....
and
about 50 shopping channels (the Big Suck Vacuum Cleaner Channel, the Bigger Suck Vac Cleaner Channel, the Cheapo Knives by the Hundreds - just don’t try to defend yourself with any of these crappy shivs...Channel. The Leftist Commie News Channel. The 24 hour Oprah BS channel. The used coins channel. The new coins channel. The Last Year’s Womens’ Clothing-that-didnt-sell Clearance Channel)
also, they took away the channel I was watching (college lectures).
SO, we told them to quit.
They kept sending the bills for months.
Finally, I did a little research and sent a registered letter to the personal residence of the CEO (Chief Extortion Officer) Presizent whatever of the El Ripoff Cable Works.
Problem solved, at long last.
We are not back to over-the-air TV.
48 channels mostly krap but at least we save $1000 every year this way.
we did lose History channel but I’d seen all their WW2 flicks ten times over, anyway. they keep repeating them.
I watched about an hour of it. The camera work made me dizzy and there was really no direction. It was just a bunch of newsreel shots taken from past events and pasted together to try to make it seem like it was happening now.
Had to turn it off.
Why bother, it is total nonsense!
.
>> “The Wailing Wall comes down in a series of bomb attacks that rock Jerusalem, kick-starting seven years of torment that will test the limits of mankind” <<
.
IOW, total BS!
The Revelation calls for 42 months of torment of believers by Satan’s beast government. (1335 days in Daniel)
>> “I dont think it will be the Wailing Wall that could come down” <<
.
Correctamundo!
Damascus, Mecca, Tehran, Amman...
.
You lasted longer than I did.
Looks like a junior high school cinematography project gone horribly wrong.
Seen a lot better end times prophecy dramatizations on You Tube.
Was looking forward to it, but it was a major disappointment.
Bloody awful.
Went to a Christian Men’s retreat and the guest pastor was the late Ken “Hutch” Hutchinson. One of his comments was the same as yours except he added “and we win!”
He had an awesome way of delivering The Word!
Apparrently god can not get a transporter lock on a person if they are inside their house...
I’m not on this thread but that was in latest posts.
A+

I have a TV just for watching classic movies on disk or tape and I very seldom watch any thing later than the fifties.
I have enough problem with this PO though, about getting ready to throw it out.
Well good luck in this communist kapitalist society.
PO? I meant PC, I said i was having a problem.
Mr Hutchinson was a fine pastor and teacher.
This show is trying to show what will happen during the Tribulation, the judgments that will fall on the earth over a seven year period, judging man for their dividing the land in Israel, their rejection of Jesus, their rebellion against God, and to turn the hearts of the Israelites to Jesus. NOT to test the faith of those left on the earth as was stated in this show.
These judgments will be devastating food will be scarce and hard to grow, by the end, about 2/3 of human life will have died. these judgments are no joke, take them seriously.
The last judgment will be an earthquake that will collapse mountains and anything standing and sink islands, and what is not destroyed by the earthquake, 100+lb hail stones will crush. nothing will be left when the Lord returns. Its in the book.
The only hope we have is in Jesus, He is our salvation. The sin of man must be accounted and paid for. Jesus paid the debt. All one has to do is believe in your heart and confess with your mouth and you will be saved. Repent of your sin, turn to Him who gave all He had for you.
PS. the locusts that appear, will sting those who do not have the mark of God on them, their sting is like the strike of a scorpion, and they will torment them for five months, those being tormented, will want to die, but will not be able to for five months. This is the first woe, the fifth trumpet judgment. They will not be grasshoppers.
(watching the show now)
I couldn’t stand the shaky camera filming. Also, when they put the quotes up from the Bible, they were so tiny they could hardly be read and then they were up for about 10 seconds, so they weren’t readable at all. REALLY frustrating.
Not bad, as fake documentaries go. However, once more, our Socialist American media choose to depict the Antichrist as a white male in a business suit. The Antichrist is never depicted as a black man, he’s never depicted as yellow or red or brown guy from a Third World nation...He’s ALWAYS depicted as a white male in a business suit, like he just came in from Wall Street, right, with a sinister Capitalist agenda. Thanks, History Channel, for more of your inane Socialist propaganda.
“Any thoughts or comments, so far?”
If it’s like most of the alarmist, futurist dreck out there, it’s not worth watching.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must soon take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John, who testified to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near. Revelation 1:1-3
Jesus said that of that day and hour, only the Father would know.
The Father told John to write that the “time is near.”
If words mean anything, “near” doesn’t mean 2.000+ years into the future.
My advice: ignore the “end of the world” charlatans. Most are only in this for the fame and fortune.
