Stoops thought he was the bomb after that game. Bama was National Title or Bust last year. After the Auburn loss they packed it in. Not a lot of leadership. Stoops got WAAAAY over-inflated with his outlook for this year.

Wrong again, Shamu. OU lost two quarterbacks and had no further backups. They pinned the last part of their season on their running game that was then exploding with Samaje Perine, a freshman, carrying the water. Unfortunately, he was injured in the Oklahoma State game, and OU didn't have more running backs. Perine had a 400-plus rushing game.

And, by the way, if there is any coach who plays super cautious and doesn't go in for WAAAAY over-inflated, it's Bob Stoops.

The WAAAY over-inflated folks are always OU supporters who want their coach's job after the third lost of the season--any season.
