Ndamukong Suh will pay a steep price for his fancy footwork in Sunday's loss to the Green Bay Packers.
The NFL has suspended the Lions' defensive tackle for one game for stepping on the leg of Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, the league announced Monday. Suh will not be available for Sunday's NFC wild card game against the Dallas Cowboys.
"You did not respond in the manner of someone who had lost his balance and

It’s hard for me to imagine rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, but the Detroit Lions may be just the team to get me to do it.
This is how I remember the replay. Suh backed up and stepped on Rodgers leg, then he stepped forward, then backed up again and stepped on Rodgers leg again with his OTHER foot - must not have liked the angle he had the first time. No one else was pushing him off balance etc. (Rodgers was protesting and trying to shove Suh off his leg but he didn’t have the leverage to shift him.)
I mean what a quince-quonce, Suh just happened to stand on the already injured leg of the QB who was beating Suh’s team like a rented mule - twice.
And here I thought Suh was just your typical Nebraska farm boy! I mean, aren’t all their players native Nebraskans? Or just the backup offensive linemen?
I’m sick of hearing about this trash.
I’m not a GB lover or hater, but if he had taken Rodgers out yesterday, I would 1000000000000% have supported a GB player ending Suh’s career on the next play.
your typical Nebraska farm boy!
But given that it was not play related and was done with the intent to injure, it should have been at least 5 games.
I believe the first step was accidental but then he purposely steps on Rodgers with his left foot and lifts his right foot off the ground to apply all his weight to Rodgers ankle. If you can’t see that in this video then you’re blind or a typical excuse maker for a low life.
I absolutely do! It is one of the reasons I have lost interest in the NFL................among many..........even though I use to be a huge fan!
ANY “rough” sport has risks! Period! If you don’t want to play because of that, don’t.
If you don’t know who Suh is then I guess you’re a Cowboys fan, not a football fan.
I've watched the video and I'm still waiting for YOU or anyone else to explain to me how Suh was able to see Rogers behind him in order to purposely step on him twice........
If you can possibly explain that to me then we can have a discussion...........
I just looked at it again. It is worse than I thought. You are right, he stepped on the leg with his right foot. Then the left foot, AND he shifted his weight to the left foot.
This thug needs to be banned from the game.
Dirty player.
You know the old saying, a picture is worth 1,000 words.
Disgusting.
dump him, he should be banned for playing pro ball. Thug and a sneak.
The Cowboys like players with drink and drug problems, not on-field thuggery. I think Suh has “Eagles” written all over him.
Which current Cowboy players do you know of who have drink and drug problems?
it wasn't a stomp. It was a step. A second step on the same leg. From the video, he was facing Rodgers immediately before the pass and as any defensive lineman will tell you, if they are rushing the QB, they know where he is....especially when looking at him while rushing and just as he released the pass.
The question is did he know. All human logic would suggest anyone who us not looking behind them who steps on something will very likely look back to see that which they stepped on (not once, but twice). So I'll go with he knew he stepped on Rodgers leg, just not necessarily whether it was his left or right leg. If you did it by accident, you'd look back to see.
What if Suh stepped on a teammate? Wouldn't he worry he stepped in Ziggy's leg? I see this as an impetuous child action taken by a loser who knew they were losing the game. He didn't stomp like he did to Dietrich-Smith in the past, so the level of intensity was missing, but I'll. All it intentional.
so I'll offer it up to you Hot Tabasco....in a room full of people...and I've done this on the field...in a room full of people...step on someone but not looking back at them....and tell me you wouldn't look back to see who you "accidentally" stepped on.
I say he knew what he was doing and neither you nor I will ever be able to confirm that it was intentional...but I'll say it was. A lot of ahit happens in the pile that can't be proved either, but on the field we all knew who the dicks were.
