At a press conference Monday afternoon, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio repeated his request that demonstrators in the city put aside protests until after the funerals of the two police officers ambushed and executed in their patrol car Saturday. Naturally, when video shows marchers chanting, “What do we want? Dead cops!” during the recent #MillionsMarchNYC, it’s not hard to believe that many protesters weren’t sympathetic to the mayor’s request.

Is this the end of de Blasio, or can he hang on, I want to see him step down, be thrown out, or resign...He never should have won that vote anyway...poor excuse for a Mayor.
There is a black woman by the name of Yolanda(She uses her last name too) who has been spewing threats to the police too..all day, non stop threats not only against the police but against the family members of police officers..she wants them all dead..will anyone report her to the feds, I highly doubt it..if I knew how I would do it right now

I think I’d be willing to let the mob handle the protest leaders.

Well, it depends on whether he can control the city. If he loses control, he may receive a visit from a committee of the big mucky-mucks (the big money-bags) who don’t want to see their investments go down the tubes.
And if they don’t think he is up to the job, he’ll be under considerable pressure to resign. Watch the editorials in the NYTimes. That’ll give you an idea of where things are headed. (The Times has this nice glittery new palace right off Times Square. Don’t want anything to happen to it.)
What will be enough to satisfy them? The race as a whole, takes far more from society than they ever give back.
If you look at how much money is spent to the black population and how much tax revenue is generated from them, it’s not a good deal. They have NOTHING to complain about.
His wife is black so I think he has a home issue with her and the son, if you have seen pictures of that family. There is a lot of people who will be hurt by his approach of NOT reigning in this chanting and police hating protests in the beginning.
Giuliani took the ‘broken windows’ approach, which is you do not let the little things slip through the cracks, or you have much bigger issues down the road (like what they have now)...That is the right way to lead in a city like NYC> where huge blocks of ghetto or poor neighborhoods have high crime rates.

I want him to go, but I don’t live in NYC, and the next one in line is probably just as bad. If the people can’t recall him, then maybe there is another way through pressure to step down. This man is NOT respected by the police and now it’s obvious the blacks are not going to respect him, it’s like an out of control elementary school with guns up there.
The Unions have reigned in the Police, and two cars must go to the scene but not actually engage, no arrests unless absolutely necessary. That means the innocents in poor and black neighborhoods will now not be able to be protected. Black on black crime is the worst, look at the statistics, then it’s black on white crime....the cops are hamstrung, and in danger of losing their lives, this is going be become an issue in other cities too....That is why it was so important to stand up in the beginning with firmness.
The Baltimore Mayor stood up and SHE said “ALL LIVES MATTER” and she is black. Kudos to that woman! She will have control of her city before this gets more than a week down the road, and I haven’t heard of any cop shootings there, have you? If there are.. the jerks had better run, as she will have them in the jails...and curfews.
We have curfews in our small towns here, if town has high crime rates...our town has high illegal Hispanic population, so we have an 11 pm curfew for all under 18. If you are out on street then expect to be approached by police. And if loitering, the you will be questioned.
Those big cities do not have room for being tolerant of this nonsense or the “inmates will have the place in chaos”, it you know what I mean....drugs, alcohol, violence and every evil out there is right there on the surface 24/7.
