Switzer easily could have won 2-3 more Super Bowls but simultaneously the Cowboys lost a star pass rusher (Hayley), star TE (Novacek), their #2 WR (who wasn’t replaced really till last year, their superstar CB . . . All this left Jerry thinking he was just “one player away” when in fact they had lost 5-6 critical pieces.
That early 90s team was damn good. They looked unstoppable. Anyway... Dallas looks great this year. I hope they make a SB run.
