A California personal injury lawyer is recovering from a severe beating suffered in New Orleans, and wondering why it happened.
Bill Callaham of Sacramento said three strangers beat him unconscious without robbing him -- and he was wearing a Rolex watch and had a cellphone and hundreds of dollars in his pockets.
"I don't know if they got interrupted. I don't know if they didn't care," he told The New Orleans Advocate (http://bit.ly/1Cjrv9B). "They apparently made no attempt even to take anything from me."

Well.... isn’t he special?
Clearly not the 'knockout' game.
He hasn't heard the last of this.
Sounds like a 'contract' warning. Or mistaken ID.
Did he have the sign , “Beat Me Stupid” , on his back ?
Shaken but not stirred.
The RACE WAR Obama/Holder/Sharpton have engineered escalates. It WILL get worse!!
“Sounds like a ‘contract’ warning. Or mistaken ID.”
I suppose it could be mistaken ID, but if he was then intended target then NOT robbing was to make sure he didn’t miss the message. Esp. having something happen so far from his home.
And how about that weatherman who got shot?
And remember the guy in, where, Florida? He was some kind of professor (maybe even a law professor because I think I saw it first on Instapundit). This guy was killed, like right in his driveway or something. Nobody seemed to have a clue as to why.
No description of the perps, so therefore, we know the description of the perps.
+1
And since he can’t remember anything other than bar hopping in the French Quarter we would never conclude that a lawyer (those upstanding examples of adulthood and sobriety) could have gotten so drink that he was in a black out and feel face first into the sidewalk.....
No.
“A California personal injury lawyer...........”
OK, I will be nice, it’s Christmas. : )
Redress of grievance?
A drunk Democrat lawyer from California in New Orleans.
“Hey! Any of you guys want to ride on my float?”
Pow! Right in the kisser.
Wonder what? He’s a lawyer. He should expect to find himself knocked on his ass quite often. Isn’t that a clause in their malpractice insurance?
Unhappy client? Friends or family of unhappy client? :-)
“Isntthe the New Orleans Advocate a Gay publication?”
LOL! You can’t be more wrong if you tried.
Must have fit the victim profile. Me, my head would be swiveling like crazy and my hand would be gripping my pistol if I were walking in NOLA.
Probably somebody with a group of friends who have lost faith in the legal system who are willing to use violence if he directs them to.
Maybe gang-related. He should probably think of this one as a warning.
