no wonder I look so young for 50.

All those years drinking beer and having to take advil in the morning is like having the best plastic surgeon on call 24/7. I wonder if cigar smoking helps too?

>> Acetaminophen can be a danger to the kidneys and liver. Not sure about ibuprofen causing the same kind of damage.

My understanding is, acetaminophen (e.g. Tylenol) is metabolized in the liver, whereas ibuprofen is removed by the kidneys.

That’s why I prefer ibuprofen... I prefer to use my liver for metabolizing other things. :-)

It makes some people faint. I’ve passed out flat on the floor three times in my life and each of those was immediately after getting a dose of that stuff. No, thanks.

Jeez, as long as it doesn’t extend the lifespans of ‘RATS, I’m OK with it.

You might want to test it on an organism that has a liver.

Pretty much every drug can cause liver and kidney damage, I think.

Bromelain fixed a problem for me that an orthopedic surgeon said I would have for the rest of my life. When’s the last time you heard about Ironman competitors eating lots of celery?

Too many negatives to ibuprofen.

I remember reading some stats that women taking hormones for 20 years live longer. Then you had to skip a bit to read the conclusion.....8 days longer.

I've *had* yeast, worms and flies but I've never *been* one.Get back to me when it's proven that it lengthens the life of humans...or even *chimps*.

ibuprofen and NSAIDS cause GI bleeding which is often not accompanied by abdominal pain. This increases morality in the elderly.
