1- ...HEAD-TO-HEAD
2- ...DIV REC
3- ...CONF REC
4- ...COMMON GAMES
SOV = Strength of Victory
XXX = no tie is possible.
explained in detail ELSEWHERE in this thread
The bold ones are clinched tiebreakers.
Also, lower case indicates a lead, but not a clinch.
example GB vs DAL: gb-L3,Lsov dal-L4
MEANS DAL leads in Common games. GB leads in CONF record and Strength of Victory.
ATL VS N.O.: ATL-2. Atlanta has clinched tiebreaker over Saints due to DIV record
for the BYE:
INDY lost to both DEN and PATS, so they need a 2-game swing to get a bye.
Pats beat DEN head2head.
So, let me get this straight; if Dallas and Seattle both finish with the same records; and even though Dallas beat Seattle in the regular season, Seattle would move ahead because of conference records?
WOW, that cleared it all up instantly!!!...thanks
tiebreaker success. we get a response.
the 2-way tie is DAL-1. DALLAS gets it.
the 3-way tie is SEA-3.
3WAY With DAL-DET-SEA
SEA gets it over other 2 and then DAL-DET tie is broken in favor of DET
3WAY With DAL-GB-SEA
SEA gets it over other 2 and then DAL-GB tie is broken. DAL gets it if they beat PHIL and lose to INDY ... that is a 11-5 tie.
DAL 11-5 8-4
GB 11-5 8-4
SEA 11-5 9-3
DAL would have common games over GB.
Example, the Dolphins have clinched the tiebreaker vs. BUFF PITT & CLEVE & SD.
SD has 4 (common) over MIA, which gives SD the tie over MIA in a 3-way tie, SD-PITT-MIA @ 9-7.
MIA has the 3-way or 4-way tie with BALT. MIA-3.
The NFL is a waste of time. yes Im from Tampa.
I’m confused. Is there any way KC can get in, other then the Broncos being abducted by aliens?
Dallas after leading Philly 21-0 now blowing game big time.
Down 24-21.
Here is the formula: Dallas-(x=8)=ab/ba......DRINK!.... Seattle-(x=8)- 67%....DRINK!......Dallas-X/C (X+7) -54% as A is b.....DRINK.....where as 77a=a77 Dallas/Seattle =69x4.54 (88) -56%. Then......Put the ‘X’ in the center square! YAHTZEE!!! There you have it! Simple! DDRINK!!!!
I'll take Pats vs. “whoever” in the super Bowl....
Pats lose!!...but cover the point spread..............
ALL DOWN...NO MORE BETS!
Thanks for clearing that up for me! :-)
Now Cowboys 35 Eagle 24
HOUS is in much better shape than the other 7-7 teams (MIA and CLE)
KC is in better shape than the other 8-6 teams
PITT is in a powerful position with the lead and tiebreakers
yes, DAL has the 2-way tiebreaker versus SEA!
I dread the playoffs if SEA is the #1 seed.
NFL uses common core math?
NFL uses common core math?
Yikes! How deep down into the tiebreakers do they typically have to go?
