And what part of the Constitution covers this?

I have a pretty good guess of the rating for Hillsdale.

I anxiously await the establishment of the FBWTF (Federal Bottom-Wiping Task Force), as none of us could possibly cope with any sort of personal issues without regulation and guidance from a large federal bureaucracy.

the government’s goal of more transparency

And..., we all know just how the "most transparent administration" has lived up to its many promises!

Ever notice that any policy or program Obama promotes is called "controversial"? They take on something that's not broken, propose a "fix" for it and have the industry up in arms over his meddling before it's even implemented. Remind you of any other liberal programs this administration has rolled out? ObamaCare and Executive Amnesty come to mind right off the top of my head.

And why is Obama dealing with this when the country has so many other serious issues on our collective plate right now? Last I looked, ranking colleges and universities is not mentioned in the Constitution nor is the public clambering for a solution to something that isn't broken.

This is just another attempt to get the federal government's fingers in everything in society and control the population and their institutions. Just more big government.

Why the Sam Hill IS there a White House college rating?

With student loans and this, the Federal Government now controls “higher education.”

As the president of a liberal arts college which will never take federal funds, the US Department of “Education” can shove its rating system up its rear end.

The college rating system will be based on employability. Not potential earnings, but jobs.

This all plays into Commin Core, the plan to make 11th and 12th grades optional. AND THE FEDERALIZED FIRST RESPONDER AND POLICE UNION.

The idea is to degrade the value of education in favor of job training. The Seattle actually passed a resolutution saying that it was discriminatory for companies to requir a degree for a job that can be learned on the job because morevWhite kids go to college than Black due to White Privilege.

Law enforcement jobs are prime candidates for this new affirmative action. I am told that in Connecticut, graduates of the police academy are washed out due to the results of their IQ test their IQs were deemed too high.

Could work really well for conservatives.

The worst ranked will probably be the best places to consider.

...trying to hold the country’s 7,000 colleges and universities accountable not only to taxpayers...

And if they didn't keep giving them taxpayer funding, it would be a non-issue. Every time the government gets involved, the product gets more expensive while the quality goes in the dumpster.
