I don’t think that is the case. Manziel hasn’t put the o-line in a position where it can do anything. With no pass available, how are they supposed to handle a D that is designed to stop everything between 3 and 7 yards? It can’t be done.
This is pretty much on Manziel and the D I drew up upthread is taking advantage of his lack of ability.
Maybe a few years in the CFL will give him the seasoning he needs.
