Noam Chomsky, author and political theorist, called the United States a “very racist society” and then slammed one of its most beloved presidents, Ronald Reagan, as a prime example of a very racist man during an interview on GRITtv about Ferguson-related issues and race relations.
“This is a very racist society,” he said, Raw Story reported. “It’s pretty shocking. What’s happened to African-Americans in the last 30 years is similar to … happen[ed] in the late 19th century,” as described by Douglas Blackmon in “Slavery by Another Name: The Re-Enslavement of Black Americans from the Civil War to World War II.”

A few stories I heard about Ronald Reagan....
When Reagan was a young man at Eureka College, he and a black friend stopped at a restaurant to have a bite to eat.
The restaurant would not serve the black man, which infuriated Reagan. Reagan then invited his black friend to his home for dinner.
Years later, as outgoing president of the Screen Actors Guild, Reagan gave a speech in which he complained about the lack of parts for black actors in the movies. No one was going to bat for black actors at that point in time.....except Ronald Reagan.
And of course, it was President Ronald Reagan who made Martin Luther King’s birthday a national holiday.

Noam Chomsky has done more than any person, alive or dead, to “keep the black man down”. He did this by effectively ruining their educations while still in elementary school.
How can a person succeed and prosper if denied an education?
Chomsky and his peers did this with the creation of “whole language English” instruction. Black students were almost on a par with white students, even in segregated schools. But within a generation, their literacy rates had plummeted.
Chomsky’s face should appear in the dictionary as the very definition of the word racist.

Why bother getting upset. Noam might as well have said “Ronald Reagan was a hummingbird made out of sapphires.” It would have the same relevance and accuracy.

I mean...what exactly do you expect Chomsky would say about Reagan? “Gee, I sure was wrong about Ronnie...I’m renouncing all my idiot Marxist actions that I’ve lived by all my life. Free market capitalism is the way to go. And I owe it all to Reagan.” There’s no old fool like an old Marxist fool like Chomsky.
