Under Armour is rolling out custom uniforms for the Navy Midshipmen in time for Saturdays Army-Navy game, and, as you might expect, the gear is as American as Duke Nukem fist-fighting a crepe iron.
Tagged with the words "Don't Tread On Me," the gear features red stripes over navy and white. Under Armour also made significant use of the First Navy Jack rattlesnake, which will be featured in a non-coiled, flying-out-of-the-fake-peanut-jar form.
In short, these uniforms are quite to very fresh, depending on your taste for hammer-down patriotism.

I always pulled for Navy due to father’s WW2 service. Doubled down when son became a Marine. Now this! Grand slam!
Go Navy! Make it Lucky 13!
Very cool.
Go Blanchard! Go Davis!
I love this!
I was Navy enlisted, so I never root for Canoe U. But, with this extremely anti-Progressive uniform, I’ll be rooting for them this year.
The US Flag Code very clearly states that Old Glory is not to be used as part of an athletic uniform.
Yet it keeps turning up on them again, and again, and again.
Finding myself on the same side as a Gator is weird. :)
Sweet! I may try to buy me one of them.
Party pooper.
That is the First Navy Jack, not the National Ensign.
I don’t see “Old Glory” anywhere there. There are several other flags, particularly involving varieties of the Gadsen, that use the red/white strip motif. I think there’s even a Naval flag that does.
Thumbs up to the Navy. I’m pretty sure some lefty heads are going to explode.
"The ArmyNavy Game is an American college football rivalry game between the teams of the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point, New York and the United States Naval Academy (USNA) at Annapolis, Maryland. The USMA team, the "Army Black Knights", and the USNA team, the "Navy Midshipmen", each represent their services' oldest officer commissioning sources. As such, the game has come to embody the spirit of the interservice rivalry of the United States Armed Forces."
