Vegas is one of my favorite cities. Even if you’re not a gambler or into shows, there are other things to see and do.
The hotels on the Strip can be awful, but there are some decent hotels in the suburbs if you don’t mind the commute The hotel rates are often way less than those on the Strip. These hotels have more of a neighborhood feel instead of the glitzy Strip feel. Often more relaxing than being on the Strip.
Yep, if I had to do it again, I’d stay in the smoke-free Marriott on the edge of town and don’t give a crap about the strip. Like any place, I’m sure it has its good and bad and I’ll do better to educate myself on what to do since my last trip was an education in what NOT to do.
I like Vegas too, it’s fun with a lot of energy, everything is within walking distance.
Thanks to an 0bola visit Southwest holed me up at the South Point resort for the night.
That place was pretty good, 24 hour pool and all.
