Misery loves company as Ole Miss knocked out Miss State from the playoff. The most controversy around this week's rankings is TCU jumping over undefeated FSU. This weekend is conference championship games. Once again the most interesting one given how FSU has played is FSU against Georgia Tech @ Charlotte. Next is Arizona in a rematch against Oregon @ Santa Clara. We will see how THE Ohio State University with its third QB of the season playing Wisconsin @ Lucas Oil Stadium. 'Bama plays Mizzou in Atlanta. The Big 12 = 10 does not have a championship game but Baylor hosting KSU. What will happen in Baylor beats #10 KSU will they jump over THE Ohio State University and TCU for a playoff spot. The biggest news off the field is the disciplinary hearing over the rap allegation against Jameis Winston started yesterday Tuesday and looks like it continue today. What an uproar will occur if Jameis is expelled after FSU secures a spot in the playoff.

The Tide is on top, and all’s right with the world. Except for Obama, Pelosi, Islam, Rangel, Sharpton, and all their evil ilk.
But FOOTBALL has returned to it s equilibrium state.
ROLL TIDE! :)

starting to look a little better, just place Baylor ahead of TCU in the #3 spot and you’ll have it.

Now if Arizona can take down Oregon, or Mizzou take down Bama, then we'd have TCU and Baylor in the top 4. That'd be nice.

Now if Arizona can take down OregonI'm a Wildcats fan, but they don't have the advantage of surprise this time. It's probably a mismatch.
But, as they say, that's why they play the games.
Bear down!

Agree, can’t jump Baylor over TCU.
Talking heads point at the Baylor/TCU game, but I believe the committee members actually watched that game (unlike most of the heads) and saw the Big 12 refs do their best PAC 12 ref impersonation at the end of the game when TCU was up 21 late. So many uncalled PI’s on Baylor that would have kept TCU drives going, and a bogus PI call on TCU to keep a Baylor drive going. It wasn’t the Oregon/Oklahoma circa 2006 hose job, but it was very bad officiating that helped get Baylor back in that game. TCU 1 good close loss at Baylor vs Baylor 1 bad loss against a losing W Virginia team = TCU ranked higher IMO.

I wish your team the best but I hope they don’t overlook KSU.
Yes, they got walloped by TCU but don’t take them lightly. Coach Snyder will have them ready to give their best.

After Baylor defeats Kansas State this week, they will leapfrog TCU because the Baylor win in the head to head will become to hard to ignore anymore at that point.

well I hope they were also watching the Baylor WV game where the refs completely flubbed the entire game and called PI after PI every time a Baylor defender came within even 10 feet of a WV receiver.
If it weren't for those constant awful calls Baylor would be undefeated.

Yep, you’re right. There were some horrendous calls in that game as well! Big 12 refs have been bad for a couple years now. OU/OSU last year also comes to mind.
To: chesley
Yup, the jokes just continue...the story of course is how the selection committee is bound and determined to preclude the only undefeated team from the playoffs. This is just as bad as the days of the BCS where Bama would massage the system to become #1 in the polls and then select a team to play them in the championship game that they could defeat. I wonder what Teo is getting his girlfriend this year for Christmas...
