Someone help me out about the marks Morgan is following.

My assumption is they are some sort of play on "hobo marks" and mean something, but none of the hobo mark keys seems to match --- unless Morgan is "good for a meal."

There are three that I've seen: line, x, and circle x.

FEMA markings are as follows:



My working assumption is that the "Circle X" means the area has been cleared and that Morgan is working with a loose group going around and clearing locations, one-by-one.

Yeah, the “Hobo Signs” are in all the recent Morgan scenes, and even on the map that had been drawn on the chalkboard of the town.

Also, the weirdo guy that jumped out at Rick in Sanctuary (he had been trapped in that container) had it tatted on his face.

And, for the record, I am happily married and watch the WD on Monday at 5:00 on my DVR with my coffee since my wife refuses to watch.

Gareth and his group seemed to be the ones using the symbols as they were trying to track Rick’s group. Maybe the circle X means that they searched that direction but did not find Rick’s group that way.

I also remember seeing a straight horizontal line symbol carved into one or more trees. That one seemed to be directly tied to Gareth and his group.

I think these are all post-Gareth, in that Morgan is a couple months behind the group, time-wise.

For example, the sign to Terminus that Rick painted “NO Sanctuary” on had vines on it when Morgan saw it.

But, yes, there are 3 signs -— Line, X, and Circle X.

Never saw the appeal of Beth, every stand-alone episode with her in it were my least favorite eppys, and I felt the character arc the writers tried to force her into (i.e. wimpy girl to strong, kick-a$$ young woman) was unbelievable. Meh, I just didn’t relate to Beth at all.

Hey - even the benchwarmers for the A Team are extremely dangerous. Gorman, O'Donnell and Dawn found that out the hard way.

There was this bloody mess on the back of her head. None in the midsection.
I’ve wondered why there weren’t way more tears for Herschel’s murder. I know they had an emergency to deal with, but after...No one seemed to have missed him. Heck, *I* missed him and I wasn’t even on the show!

I think some kind of interaction would have been more powerful. Also, the whole hospital storyline was weird, imo. It really served no purpose other than Beth getting killed, Noah being a new member of Rick’s group, and maybe some Daryl pain.

I really enjoy the show so I’m good with whatever keeps me entertained. I don’t have any investment in Abraham, Eugene, Rosita and Tara yet and Sasha and Tyrese don’t really hold my interest yet other than how they affect the core group.
