Someone help me out about the marks Morgan is following.
My assumption is they are some sort of play on "hobo marks" and mean something, but none of the hobo mark keys seems to match --- unless Morgan is "good for a meal."
There are three that I've seen: line, x, and circle x.
FEMA markings are as follows:
My working assumption is that the "Circle X" means the area has been cleared and that Morgan is working with a loose group going around and clearing locations, one-by-one.

Looks like the X-Men symbol to me. ;-)
Gareth and his group seemed to be the ones using the symbols as they were trying to track Rick’s group. Maybe the circle X means that they searched that direction but did not find Rick’s group that way.
I also remember seeing a straight horizontal line symbol carved into one or more trees. That one seemed to be directly tied to Gareth and his group.
