If you follow the thread, you`ll find a story about familial trash being ticked at their little Thuggie Brown being shot, but he survived five hits! What`s your best compromise between concealment versus stopping power. And how would climate effect your choice?
The m s rounds I use load well in all my auto’s and runs smooth even in my old personal 25. These rounds are very effective having those cuts that give it the pre-fragmented effect. I believe the m s 45 in this round, is an overkill, if that is possible.
Just saying.
I looked up the round, you seem pretty well grounded, what do you think of these: http://g2rip.com/
I carry a Glock 29 10 mm automatic mostly. The 10 mm automatic laughs at the whole 9mm vs .45 acp argument.
You need another community- they get rid of too many good guns...
This 75 year old man carries a LCP in a Sneaky Pete holster. Looks like an IPhone case. I’ve had a lot combat practice with it so don’t let old age fool you.

OMG .....I started bleeding out of my right arm and left eye just looking at them.
I’ll get back to you. Got to go order some.
Well that’s been taken care of several years back, in the rebuilding phase now.
Does anyone have any experience with these rounds: http://g2rip.com/
I like the S&W 500 for its stopping power too. It’s a little big for concealed carry, but it more than makes up for that by settling things on the first shot.
Note: I am in Maryland, where handguns can be carried only directly from home to the range or gun shop unless you have a CCW license. I’ve been told that I won’t get the permit, since I’m not in a profession that requires carry.
It sells for over 50$ for 20, 9mm rounds! Now they make .380 though, last I looked it up, they didn`t.
Ruger SP101 2.25” .357
Glock feels like SA only, but without fiddling with the hammer. A bit wide for concealing but still manageable. Extremely popular for CCW.
Threaded makes a silencer an option, and gives you a little longer barrel in the same package.
I carry the Bersa 9mm UC Pro with two extra mags which I converted from Beretta to Bersa use. In the gun are hollow points 115gr +p and the extra mags have ball ammo in 147 gr +p. Night sights. Round in the chamber is a 147 gr ball round, to ‘get the attention of the target’.
Perhaps she’ll identify with some victim in the future.
I’ve owned ‘em and liked ‘em and have studied the ballistics.
Still it is good to get the practical word from a trustworthy source.
Cheers!
