MOSCOW (AP) Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke returned to the boxing ring Friday at the age of 62, defeating a fighter less than half his age in an exhibition bout.
Rourke sent 29-year-old Pasadena native Elliot Seymour to the canvas twice in the second round before the referee stopped the fight.
The bout at a Moscow concert hall was Rourke's first fight in 20 years. He took a break from acting in the early 1990s, finishing a three-year pro boxing career with six wins and two draws.

What’s the deal with washed-up American actors going to Russia? Segal, Rourke, can Stallone be far behind? Does Putin collect these guys?
Ridiculous
You’d never catch Dennis Rodman spending time in a commie country like Russia!
He made a pretty good Russian villain in Iron Man 2. Probably couldn’t get approved to box in the USA at his age.
To his credit, it looks like he’s in pretty good shape, and he hasn’t “Burt Reynolds’ed” his money.
How much do all those new faces cost??
Body by HGH
Face by Botox and collagen
Several comments at the link by those who watched the fight say it was rigged and that the 29 y/o opponent took a dive. In Russia? I’m shocked, shocked!
That there is gambling going on here?
I would guess that Russia doesn’t test fighters for steroids.
The guy’s in good shape at 62, that’s for sure.
Mickey visited the great ex-middleweight champ Carlos Monzon in prison back in ‘93 and begged to spar with him. Well, they did, and Monzon knocked him out with the first hard punch that he threw in the first round. Knocked him the spark out.
I love reading about Burt. What a loser!
Interesting tidbit. Thanks.
Rourke may be a little odd in some ways, but the man was genuinely dedicated to his Chihuahua, Loki...
We do get attached to our little buddies...and vice-versa.
