Please read #82.
One girl reported being invited to Cosby’s home, along with Cosby’s wife, and a male buddy of Cosby’s. She grew up playing pool, and an aspiring actress, thought, GREAT! Cosby’s house! Hanging out with the Cos!
First, Cosby’s wife disappeared, presumably to bed. Okay. Then, Cosby’s buddy disappeared, without saying, “I’m going now.” Just slipped away, as if it was a scam they had down pat.
Once the girl realizes she’s alone with Cosby, she presumes she will be told, “Okay, time to wrap it up,” by Cosby.
Instead, she was attacked and raped in the now-empty rec-room. After being drugged in her drinks, which disabled her thinking as well.
So, not all these girls were guilty of going to some sleazy motel with Cosby. NOT AT ALL.
Please read 82. Cosby got away with it the same way Jimmy Savile did, IMHO.
Read my latest.
Do you think Cosby is innocent, and all of the girls/women now are lying?
Why doesn’t he sue them for defamation? He’s worth gazillions. He could take them to court and clear his name.
Why doesn’t he?
Have you read 82 yet?
Not clear on 101. The “hook” was playing pool. Cosby invited her back to their place to play pool along with the wife and buddy.
You cannot possibly compare day-care toddlers, who were coached with dolls to the point of false-memory-syndrome, to girls and women in their late teens and 20s.
The comparison is absurd.
Andrea Constand
“what is their motivation now?”
$$$
The opportunity to “bring down” someone they ultimately felt slighted by. You know the old saying..Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned.
The opportunity to absolve their conscience of their own stupidity.
Myself, I think maybe one or two of these women may have been incredibly naïve. But I don’t think most of them were. They state it themselves in their testimonies.
The only chance for an alleged victim might be the 16 year old. And that is iffy. For all those 18 or older at the time, the statute has long run out.
But Cosby is free to sue them into poverty for defamation. He could hire 20 top lawyers tomorrow, and sue them for defamation.
Why doesn’t he?
Did all of Jimmy Savile’s victims try to set him up to shake him down for money?
Did you read #82?
Cosby is a gazzillionaire. They are destroying his sterling reputation and his career. His cancelled show is a multi-million loss. Why doesn’t he sue all these lying sluts for defamation?
IF they are lying sluts. And IF he was not a predator.
I think that would be the McMartin Preschool case in California in the 1980s.
The little kids, and they were little, were being led by the idiots who were interviewing them. A friend of mine was peripherally involved in this case.
The kids were saying things like that a horse had been killed and buried in the schoolyard. Absolutely wild claims that should have made it clear to everyone involved that they were just indulging their imaginations. This was a travesty, a real case of hysteria like something out of the Salem witch trials.
The kids weren’t at fault, it was a few parents and some very unprofessional investigators. They may have been psychologists although I’m not sure anymore. They certainly wrecked the lives of the people who ran the preschool and from what it looks like without the slightest valid evidence.
You bring up a point some overlook.
Cosby did threaten the National Enquirer with a 250 million dollar lawsuit in 2005 or 2006 about this, and they said bring it on, and it was revealed as a bluff.
See #104.

Good point about Cosby at the Playboy Mansion. I too followed the Jimmy Savile story with much interest. He was a monster.
Andrea Constand - A Temple University employee, she claimed in 2006 that Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted her in his Philadelphia-area mansion two years earlier. Cosby eventually settled this suit out of court as the prosecution said they had 13 Jane Does who would testify Cosby did the same to them in the past.
Barbara Bowman - Bowman told MailOnline that Cosby raped and drugged her back in 1985 when she was a 17-year-old aspiring actress. Bowman was one of the 13 Jane Does in the 2006 trial against Cosby.
Joan Tarshis - Tarshis claimed that she was just 19-years-old when Cosby drugged and raped her twice in Hollywood back in 1969 while she was working as a writer for him.
Janice Dickinson - The supermodel said in an interview that Cosby asked her to come to Lake Tahoe and talk about a television role in 1982, but ended up drugging and raping her.
Tamara Green - Green, who first came forward in 2005 told MailOnline that she was an aspiring actress in the 1970s when Cosby gave her pills and pretended to care for her while she had the flu, but instead sexually assaulted her.
Therese Serignese - Also one of the 13 Jane Does, she says she was 19 when Cosby drugged and raped her in Las Vegas after one of his shows.
Louisa Moritz - She accused Cosby of sexual assault, saying he once forced her into oral sex, backstage at The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson in 1971, and implied he would further her career if she went through with it.
Linda Joy Traitz - She said earlier this week that she was just 19 when Cosby drove her out to a beach and tried to get her to take pills to relax, before becoming ‘sexually aggressive’. Traitz, of Hallandale Beach, Florida, has been charged in the past with trafficking pills. Cosby’s attorney, Marty Singer, is trying to use Traitz’s past to discredit her claims against his client.
Beth Ferrier - Beth Ferrier claims she had relationship with Cosby in the mid-1980s. She claims that she awoke in her car with her clothes in disarray and not remembering what had happened. Ferrier has claimed that he drugged her coffee.
Carla Ferrigno - The wife of Incredible Hulk star Lou Ferrigno, claims Cosby tried to sexually assault her during a gathering at his house in 1967. What’s more, Cosby allegedly tried to use a friend to help court Ferrigno, and allegedly made his move on the former Playboy Bunny just moments after his own wife, Camille, left the room.
Andrea Leslie - The former model-actress claims that Cosby forced her to masturbate him in his Vegas hotel suite after giving her a strong drink in 1992.

It really “clicked” for me when I read an exosse of the Playboy mansion protocals, when I found out that Hef bought quaaludes by the boxcar to feed to the girls to get them in the mood.
Cosby was a regular. Then the “Spanish Fly” skit was circa 1969, after he was a Playboy mansion regular—for weeks—while married.
That is a very damning article you linked to there.
This one thought of Bill Cosby as a ‘pot of gold’...
‘I knew something was wrong, that this was a twisted situation, but if I resisted, I was failing him and failing MY GOOD FORTUNE. HE WAS A POT OF GOLD and I NEEDED TO TAKE GOOD CARE OF IT.’ - Barbara Bowman
Sure. That is how aspiring actresses are. He was the celebrity who offered to help them.
In your mind, does that give him the right to drug them and rape them?
If that is what you think, you are one sick puppy and you need help.
Yeah, you have described McMartin precisely. And it has nothing in common with the women accusing Bill Cosby.
If one woman alone was making the claim against Cosby you’d have to give him the benefit of doubt without some strong independent evidence. But when you get 15 women unknown to each other telling the same tale he looks guilty as hell.
I remember his costar Robert Culp saying a few negative things about Cosby’s character, which was surprising if you knew how much Culp had helped his career. But it was nothing like what we are hearing now.
PS: Bowman was 17 when it happened.
But I guess she had it coming/should have known better.
You need help, dude.
