Terminal velocity of a human body lying flat is 100 times that at about 120 to 185 MPH. . . it's faster if he's falling feet or head first. You have to fall for 11-12 seconds or about 1150 feet to reach terminal velocity. . . Our faller may have just been approaching it when he went he encountered the Toyota.
