Less than two years ago some believed Robert Griffin III could change the way the United States was governed.
Not just change the football fortunes of the Washington Redskins, not just change the bottom line for Nike or Subway or anyone else who'd jumped in with a pleasant, charismatic and dynamic quarterback, not just change how his position is played, in his case with 4.3 speed and an accurate arm.
No, he could change American governance.

Luck seems to be progressing nicely:
2012 23 TD/ 18 Int/ 54.1% Comp/76.5 Rating
2013 23 TD/ 9 Int/ 60.2% Comp/87.0 Rating
2014 28 TD/ 10 Int/ 63.2% Comp/99.4 Rating
The TD to Int ratio is actually fairly impressive for a young QB. I’ve never been a Colts fan, but Luck seems a pretty damn worthy successor to Manning....
That’s true, but I would still argue the fact that bootlegging does not a running quarterback make. That was still a designed pass play that was afforded to those teams fortunate enough to have a mobile qb, but still primarily a pocket passer. I think the distinction is made with the read option and designed qb rushing plays. The precursor to all this was Carmichael and the Eagles. Although not running a true read option, they still designed rushing plays for him. Until he got hurt. Then the focus was making him a better pocket passer. Like they do now. After their qb gets hurt from the abuse.

That’s surprising since I always struggle posting from my phone with its crazy auto correct! When faced with a good rucking (sorry couldn’t resist the spelling poke, looks like you have the same auto correct) d-line that can bring pressure with three our four, out frees up a qb spy that covers the qb rush.
