I agree and she is one of my favorites. Carol is a survivor.

I was responding to someone getting hanged on ‘Hell on wheels’.

Love this show. Just started watching it one night on Netflix and ended up binge watching it and am now current.

Which regular cast member loss do you regret the most? Me, Shane.

I was not going to watch a show about zombies.
Season 1 passed.
Kept hearing all kinds of comments about TWD.
One slow TV day, I decided to check it out — via Netflix.
Did the marathon binge. Got hooked and haven’t missed an episode since.

I am even sort of liking Z-Nation on SyFy.

What is Z-Nation? Zombies?
I felt the same way about Walking Dead. Didn’t think I’d care for it because of the zombies. But I can’t wait for the next episode now. Love Darryl!

Z-Nation is also about the zombie apocalypse. It does seem to be a low-budget imitation of TWD. It is on SyFy on Friday night at 10 ET/9 CT.
One big difference -- the zombies on TWD are slow walkers; the zombies on Z-N are fast suckers. Both are neutralized by injuries to their brains.

Same with my sister-in-law and her husband. They weren’t about to watch some zombie show...they preferred good character-driven drama. We told them, yep, and that’s exactly what TWD is.
They got hooked and ordered every season on DVD. When one was a little late arriving, SIL called up, wanting frantically to borrow ours, lol.

IIRC, the first season was a ‘cable hit’ because it got around 3 million viewers. That is great for most cable shows.
Each season, the viewership grew. By about season 4, it was deemed a major TV hit, as it was drawing viewer numbers that made the 4 regular networks drool.
Now, it is about the 2nd or 3rd most watched program on night cable and network TV. NCIS maintains the highest total viewership numbers and TWD or Big Bang Theory come in a close 2nd.

sounds better
twc started off as a fun zombie series - then they started taking themselves seriously - and got off into ‘character development’ with method acting and stuff - there was one season that was unwatchable because it was SOOOOO slow
this season started off moving fast - that whole beth crap sucked but hopefully tonight get back on track

Last night on AMC's
Hell on Wheels, "Church Lady" Ruth was hanged for shooting/killing the psychopath who burned her adopted son alive (and murdered a zillion more people). Ruth was a very young, sweet woman who provided what little spiritual order existed in the traveling Union Pacific railroad construction town called "Hell on Wheels."
We don't watch much fictional television, but Mrs. Scoutmaster and I don't miss Hell on Wheels.
I became a TWD fan after the show started because of a family connection. I've watched HOW from the first second of the first scene.

Think of The Grove, but more depressing and emotional.
With that, let's move on to tonight's The Walking Dead.

Carol's story is finished, and so she will die soon.
If she does then it's your fault......and if she does, I will hunt you down and kill you myself........and I am series.
