Misfortune continues to deal hard-luck former slugger Jose Canseco a bad hand.

Canseco said on Twitter Friday night that he was playing cards at poker tournament in Las Vegas Friday when his badly injured middle finger on his left hand fell off.

The confessed steroid cheat accidentally shot himself in the hand last month while cleaning his gun at home. Doctors attempted to save it, apparently without success.

Umm, did anyone actually even read the excerpt? He didn’t “gamble” his finger. It just happened to fall off during a poker game. Due to a firearm injury previously. Probably didn’t go to the hospital, hanging by a thread or something. But it clearly states it fell off, not that he bet his finger....LOL!

Ok...this only proves that Canseco is just as stupid as I thought he was. Either that or he has serious drinking problem...or he's a liar...which is provable.

How the hell does one shoot oneself while cleaning a firearm? The first friggin' step is to unload the bloody thing.
