Surgeon is a Sierra Leone national, legal permanent resident of the US.
A surgeon who's a Sierra Leone national and a legal permanent resident of the United States will be transported from Sierra Leone to the Nebraska Medical Center for treatment for Ebola, a government official familiar with the situation said.
....”When have we seen that from staff at the Nebrasca biocontainment facility?”....
LOLOL...Look...medical staff human error, AND the fact they will call their own shots, especially with Ebola, has already ‘shown’ us plenty that we better take care of our own and ourselves regarding risk....to think otherwise is stupidity.
I would change hospitals for any family member I might have there...and I’d sure be certain to take names of those treating this patient and keep my family clear of them.
Thanks for posting. Interesting (post & thread). Health/life BUMP!
Why are you so defensive of ebola patients and bringing them here? What’s your interest? just asking because you’re getting nasty about it.
Why would you lie and pretend that?
You have been posting childish posts and silly questions and now you make a childish attack.
This is no different than any other discussion at FR, at least not to most of us, it is important to have correct information yet you keep trying to mislead.
Yet you can’t name any problems so far at any of theses four centers, which it seemed that you were trying to do.
Some days I get to the point where I can’t read one more thing about the assault on US citizens and our Country, but the Will to save this Country for my kids and future grandkids is still strong.
A very, very close family member thinks it’s okay to just spend and print money. I keep trying to explain that no only doesn’t work, it’s UNSUSTAINABLE and her kids/grandkids/future great grandkids have a very LARGE DEBT on their backs. Debt that they had no part in. This doesn’t CLICK in the mindset of a died-in-the-wool, long-time and Obama Lover Democrat.
Thanks for the info!
.
The first hundred or so maybe treated so thorough and caringly, but what about those after that? We only have so many containment beds. The could be what the ethics bunch were starting their quest for not ‘treating’ the ebola patients where there are too many. The life sustaining treatment of supportive care may not be given. The more and more EBola or new disease brought in detract from the amount of medical resources that are available those victims and those whom are victims of regular disease treatment and accidents which will result in the crossover needs between the diseases and other medical mishaps. This is where the regulation of who to give care to and who not to may be fought.
Reports out of NYC were that their one patient cost them $100k/d in waste management expenses alone. We’re talking about seriously unholy sh*t here. This either kills a lot of people or it bankrupts them.
I wish the surgeon the best of luck and get well soon.
With the exception of the first patient, everybody with Ebola in this country has been cured (that plasma transfusion treatment must really work).
I'd heard of it, but without details. Thanks for the link. Imported, like most cases in the US. Parts of Micronesia are some of the places leprosy is still endemic. Most do well with antibiotic treatment although tricky complications can occur. Noncompliance is the main problem, which his imprisonment should remove. Risk to others is lowit's been called the least infectious, infectious diseaseand should be nil soon, although he'll need to be on antibiotics quite awhile.
Yes, it would.
I'm sure that his Democr-advisors have told him this many times.
Wonder how the 100th or 1000th victim will be treated? With the developing “ethical guidelines” on withholding treatment to Ebola patients? Will USA citizens be given little or no treatment? That seems to be the modus operandi of the current occupant of the White House. Payback to American citizens, esp. “melanin challenged” citizens.
