Surgeon is a Sierra Leone national, legal permanent resident of the US.
A surgeon who's a Sierra Leone national and a legal permanent resident of the United States will be transported from Sierra Leone to the Nebraska Medical Center for treatment for Ebola, a government official familiar with the situation said.
Now we have an official answer. N163PA left Bermuda 45 minutes ago, heading for Dakar. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N163PA
Lord have mercy on him and us all.
Is this part of the $2500/peep HC Cost Savings?
The nurses calling in with some pretty serious problems preventing them from coming to work at that hospital should be amazingly high. Some might even consider limb fractures to avoid the plague, and court issued gag orders about speaking to anyone.
“legal resident” aka not a citizen.
GOP should be screaming about this & Obola amnesty.
By sheer coincidence, Nebraska is a “red state”.
Frieden said yesterday in his testimony in the Senate Committee, that the USA is “Ebola Free”. Guess it was yesterday.
Oh no not again. Have mercy on those patients with no immune system there at nebraska med center. It seems as though they have become a big publicity hound these days..
The hospital has a separate biocontainment unit - why would any other patients be at risk?
Does this mean the Wisconsin Badgers won’t play our Huskers this weekend?
You know, with all that obola around us all here. Don’t wanna bring it up to that commie-conclave of Madison...... /s
(Not that Lincoln is much better)
Nebraska is one of the 4 special treatment centers in the United States for infectious disease, remember Emory in Atlanta, well this is one of them.
The four are Emory, Maryland, Nebraska and Montana, all especially built to be near, and treat researchers who work with the deadliest of diseases.
Errors?
Long incubation and high mortality?
0bama wants an outbreak?
Should have sent him to Maryland.
I don't know if you remember the very first years of AIDS. I do. Method of transmission of it WAS NOT KNOWN.
An 82-year old nun came down with it, as did hemophiliacs, homosexuals, heroin addicts and Haitians. I remember the "four h's" and they weren't the 4-H club!
But WHO could figure it out from THOSE statistics? It was very, very SCARY!! NOW we know: exchange of body fluids.
This is similar. Right out of Africa.
ASIA produced leprosy and the Bubonic plague, diseases of filth.
Aren't we lucky to have been born in the West?
They’re not ordinary patients they have none, zero , zip immune systems. They do solid organ and bone marrow transplants there. The patients are advised to stay away from anyone even with a simple virus. There is no hope no chance of these patients surviving ebola if exposed by any teeny slip.
What’s the difference, except that Nebraska is a larger unit?
The unit at Nebraska was designed for more serious diseases than Ebola, and it had to be constructed within a set distance of the deadly research lab in the vicinity, just as the other special units are all next to deadly infectious disease laboratories that handle Sars and Ebola and such materials.
Closer to those scumbags in DC
Love it!Thanks!
