You can overcome the Ruger trigger with a lot of practice, but my wife has the Shield, and I have to say it it one sweet little gun. Since I already have the LC9 and have learned how to hit despite the looooooooonnnnngggg trigger pull, I can’t justify buying another gun, but I can’t help feeling a little envy when I fire her gun.

I tried talking her into a little revolver, but she loves her Shield.

I've shot most of the common small carry weapons and I like the M&P shield the best but I don't own one. I don't feel like getting pistol permits and dealing with that crap again for a gun I can't carry in my own state.

I do have my SW638 for when I'm in a carry jurisdiction and I also have no real issue concealing my HK P30 since I'm not a little guy. If I could carry daily I would get the Shield.
