Legendary Washington Post reporter and editor Bob Woodward said on a Face the Nation panel that when he speaks to Senate Democrats about Obama they are on fire, and just as loud in the criticism of the president as Republicans are publicly.
HOST BOB SCHIEFFER: Im wondering about the talk after this election, I think the presidents relations with the Democrats in the Senate may be as bad as his relations with the Republicans.
WOODWARD: Thats absolutely true. You get the Democrats in private, and they are on fire! Because he wont spend the time, because he wont listen. Peggy [Noonan] said yesterday in her column, and I think there is real truth here: humility is power.

This is the same moron who interviewed a dead Casey. Can’t stand to see him anywhere on tv.
Woodward has oodles of time to question Dems and come up with a CYA article to distance themselves from Idi Obama, but he doesn’t have one damn minute to investigate Idi Obama.
We’ll see who and how much they hate him when they have to put their vote on the line to stop executive amnesty or any number of unconstitutional Obama overreaches.
I have seen Woodward on TV fairly regularly. Not so with Carl Bernstein.
Again, bullshit. You could not pull any Democrat’s mouth from Obama’s ass with a pair of D8 Cats. The Democrats, along with the media worship the ground that Obama pisses on.
I'm thinking what they may have in mind is a very soft cabinet coup, leaving The Mombasa MF in a psychotropic drug haze and Joey Plugs in charge for the last 18 months. IOW, Amendment 25 Barry and embarrass him out of office.
Call it a long shot, but that has got to be going through some Democrat minds right now, the "Race Card" be damned.
With an imagination like that you should be writing political thriller novels.
Shades of Jimmy Carter, who couldn’t even get George McGovern to vote for him ...
Truth is stranger than fiction. After all, what novelist would have dared to write a story about a gay Indonesian who gets elected President, telling everyone his Dad was a dead-beat drunk from Kenya, and who claims to have been born in Hawaii, but can't prove it?
Anyway, the more I get to know Obama, the better Joey Plugs looks to me. Reminds me of Uncle Bunntie who lived in Grandma's attic and mixed a mean Martini.
I knew a ‘Mister Denman’ who made a great Martini and lived in the upstairs of the house owned by Aunt Nell Fleming and her sister.
Good point
Would be a hoot, if somehow we could get 67 senators to convict after impeachment. Come 2015, that would be 13 crossing the aisle.
Absolutely agree that the dems must be considering ways to get rid of him before his damage to the party is irreversible and the 25th amendment section 4 is a viable option. Impeachment will never happen. But a quick passage of bills he will veto only to be overridden by the lame duck dem Senate could trigger a very public display of him absolutely losing control of himself that would excuse any cabinet member who is still reticent. Looking at the current cabinet they may be close.
Just one option on the Democrat table. Another is to give the "Republicans" (Whatever TF that is nowadays) enough rope to hang ourselves. The economy could go a lot further into the tank ... and that will give the Dems the next innings.
"Obama he be tryin' to do the right thing .... but dem evil slaveholdin' KKK white mens on the Congress, they be holdin' everything up! Say so right here on my Obamaphone." Nightmare time: Hillary with a Democrat Congress in 2016 and on into our Latin American future.
Going into combat behind the flabby pink behind of Mitch McConnell does little for my confidence. Boehner? If tears could do it, we wouldn't be in this fix! Two years to save the Republic.
