Chad Knaus, crew chief of Jimmie Johnson’s No. 48 team, and other members of Hendrick Motorsports have been called to the NASCAR hauler following the conclusion of the Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
According to NASCAR, that group was requested due to “disregarding a NASCAR directive.”
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Managing Event Director David Hoots asked for Knaus, the competition director and vice president of competition to attend.

Kudos to Jeff Gordon for taking that late pitstop and leaving the race to those who could win the championship.
